StEP annual report (May 2009)

In May 2009 Wellington Green became a member of the international StEP initiative.
The StEP (Solving the E-Waste Problem) initiative was established by various UN organizations to tackle the problem of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Approaching this problem in a holistic way, StEP initiates and facilitates new co-operative approaches towards sustainable e-waste management worldwide. In particular StEP works to bridge the digital divide between developing and developed nations. Visit StEP’s website for more information on this global initiative.

Membership in StEP will allow Wellington Green to further develop its business in the field of environmental communication. One of the first tasks Wellington Green undertook as part of its new relationship with StEP was to offer editorial advice and expertise in the preparation of the StEP annual report and StEP publicity materials.
